Presenters will show how they successfully have used drones in the classroom to develop collaborative leadership skills in their students. Using mathematics and technology classes, as well as the engineering design process learned in science class, lessons on programming, coding, algebra, geometry, and science have given students empowerment in their learning while becoming confident problem solvers. The use of drones helps to foster collaboration, creativity, communication, focus and experimentation which are all necessary skills for today's learners and future leaders of the 21st century workforce. Attendees will be given ideas of how to incorporate drones into their lessons as well as information on where to purchase drones for their own schools.
