As a veteran Special Education teacher working in multiple settings (self-contained, resource rm, Integrated co-teaching) I struggled to find a data collection solution that was intuitive, helped me stay in compliance with my data schedules, and produced reports I could share with my parents at CSE meetings. After finding that no such product existed, I decided to develop it myself. With no coding experience, I conceptualized and developed Datability, The data collection, analysis, and reporting tool for the iPad. This presentation will detail the steps I took to create the app as well as go over the app's functions and features.
