In this session, teachers and administrators are introduced to a professional, online, app-building tool they can use to make their own mobile apps. They will learn that building apps does not have to be a tedious and daunting project. Our engineering design-based approach gives students a platform that allows them to easily build content-rich, visually impressive, and professional mobile apps. The program, called MAD-Learn (for Mobile App Development learning), enables students to quickly see the finished product, and use technology creation as a means of serving the community, solving problems, building "app-reneurship," and sharing one's ideas with the world.
