Susan Miele, K-12 Library Media Specialist from the Patchogue-Medford School District, has won the SSLMA-OPALS-Media Flex Librarian of the Year and ASSET Bright Light Awards.  Her lessons cross curriculum to connect the library to classroom.  She created the “Spin-a-Book” Challenge Wheel to encourage students to explore every genre and Library Notebooks so students keep reference materials after classes end.
